KARALDENUTEN

Karaldenuten is located at 1,300 meters above sea level and offers an absolutely fantastic view over the Hardangerfjord and Gråsiden. It is a demanding trip with an ascent of 850 meters from the mountain lodge. The trip takes between 5 and 10 hours and is a nice round trip.

You can find more information on DNT's website (ut.no). Here you will also find a GPX file (for tour apps).

NANSENBU

Nansenbu is ideally located between Rongastovo and Torfinnsheimen. The trip between Rongastovo and Torfinnsheimen/Hamlagrø can quickly become too long and then a Nansenbu a great stopping point. Unmanned accommodation cabin (DNT). The trip initially has a demanding climb, but then a great plateau (Gråsiden). Very demanding and takes between 4 and 8 hours (one way).

You can find more information on DNT's website (ut.no). Here you will also find a GPX file (for tour apps).

ÅLVIK (HARDANGER)

Beautiful mountain and fjord trip to Hardanger (12 km). Up to Grubbafjellet 1000 m above sea level (1-2 hours) and then a lot of downhill terrain to the center of Ålvik (100 m above sea level at the car park). Here there is a bus connection between Voss and Bergen. The return route is a demanding summer route with a lot of climbing up from the fjord. The trip takes between 4 and 8 hours one way and is well marked in red (DNT).

You can find more information on DNT's website (ut.no), but this only describes the return route. Here you will also find a GPX file (for tour apps).
